How to Dress for Full Figures

At Whimsy we love to have clothing types
available for all types of figures.

Today we are going to show you how to dress for
a full-figure/Hourglass. This is one of the most
common types of body types and can be very beautiful and womanly.

There are several things to do to bring out your best assets
and others to do to hide those things we all want to not
get overly noticed.

1. Using one color or one print will allow the eye to see
the body lengthened instead of breaking up what you see at the waist.
This dress also works because it is cinched at the waist. This accentuates the Hourglass' best feature, a
thinner waistline.

2. This light weight breezy top is amazing
on a fuller figure. The sash at the waist again
is important. Accentuating the waistline is always
a great idea. The jeggings allow the legs to be
shown off! And look how long they can make your legs look
without adding any extra bulky fabric...
Wonderful.

3. This flowing dress hugs in all the right places,
and forgives in all the right places as well. Adding
a denim jacket or cardigan is a chic touch and also
helps hide any flaws in the arms.

4. If you are on the shorter more petite side
this A-Line dress is a perfect fit. You get the length while
not having it be overbearing. Again, the cinched waist
helps show off your beautiful Hourglass shape.

5. And finally we have the "Little Black Dress"
We all need one! Not matter what our figure type.
And the Hourglass/Full-Figure is not an exception.
With this dress being fitted at the top and waist and
going out into an A-line balance you out. Add a
beautiful necklace and you have a fantastic
outfit for a night on the town.
