How To Dress For Your Body Type

At Whimsy you will find that each piece we have can be used in many ways. And there are items
that will be flattering to every body type. Each week we will be giving you a post about a different
body type. What is yours? Each figure has it's great characteristics, and each has those things we'd love
to hide!

Not sure what your body type is? Check out our
Body Type Diagram.

This week we will be focusing on a
fuller busted figure
or Top Hourglass.
While this body type is very sought after it
actually is difficult to dress at times.

Let's begin!

You will find basics in practically every color at Whimsy!
Often this body type has a difficult time
finding tops that fit nicely on the
bust line as well as the waist.
Whimsy basics fit fantastic on everyone.

Whimsy basics are a great match with our
stretchy lace long sleeve tops.
Wear them alone with jeans or a skirt.

Add a casual denim jacket
to keep the look hip but not dressy
for a fun day look.

Need accessories to finish of the look and give it a final touch?
Whimsy is full of fantastic scarves, jewelry and boots!

Going out later that day but no time to really dress up?
Replace the denim jacket with a much dressier trench.
Whimsy is the place for both daytime items and night.

For a Fuller Breasted body type, a wrap dress is one of the
most useful items of clothing you can add to your wardrobe.
If you are not fuller busted, but simply trying to hide
a tummy pooch, a wrap dress is amazingly flattering!

Add that same denim jacket to the wrap dress for the day.
With boots it's a fabulous look. Take off the jacket and
add some fun heels and fancier jewelry and the look goes
from day to night quickly and inexpensively.

Come into Whimsy today and let us help you find
the perfect most flattering useful items for your
body type.

Some extra tips:
Dressing a Top Hourglass body type
1.Tops with banding or nipping at the waist
2. Wrap-style tops
3. Tailored jackets and shirts
4. Dark colored tops to minimize
